I'm gonna save you some time and let you know that Weeki Wachee Springs State Park needs to be on your bucket list! Beat the Florida heat by floating down the refreshing Weeki Wachee River...You can thank me later!
This year for the Fourth of July, we rented kayaks and floated down the crystal clear river. The water was the perfect temperature and we couldn’t have had better weather to celebrate our beautiful country.
We saw lots of wading birds, watched fish swim right by us, and even saw a mama and baby manatee!!! The wildlife was a huge highlight of the trip.
There are tons of things to do here for people of all ages. From floating down the river in your choice of boat, paddleboard, kayak, or whatever you prefer, you can also go snorkeling or swimming in other areas of the park. Aside from having fun on the river, you can also check out the water park, Buccaneer Bay. Weeki Wachee is also known for its live mermaid shows!
If you’re looking for a beautiful place to cool off this summer, be sure to make Weeki Wachee Springs State Park a priority! Plan to get there early because park admission is first come, first serve, and the park fills up fast - especially in the summer. Once you see the beauty of Weeki Wachee, you’ll see that it’s worth the wait. Enjoy!

With that being said, we look at these things every year and cheer if they liked the Titans' pick or boo if they didn. The Caleb Farley pick, in particular, seems to be a tough one to grade. Most people agree that he can play. The issue is whether or not his health will hold up (in case you haven already heard). Here to hoping he is at least ready to go when the Titans op…
